Oday Abu Karsh,  the General Manager of REFORM Team

Oday Abu Karsh

General Manager

Oday is a social activist and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Hebron University and holds a MA in Humanitarian Affairs from La Sapienza University in Rome. Oday is a Co-Founder of REFORM. He served as Policy Advisor for UNDP and for numbers of international organizations. He led a project for amending the Palestinian Basic Law, the Electoral Law and the rules and procedures of the PLC during his work at the Palestinian Center for the Independence of Judiciary and Legal Profession. He also participated in developing a methodology for Social Transformation during his work at the Palestinian Initiative for the Promotion of Global Dialogue and Democracy – MIFTAH. In addition, Oday recently co-led the development of Facilitating Reform Methodology for Social Transformation.

Nadine Natour, the Financial and Administrative Officer of REFORM team

Financial & Administrative Officer, Head of Technical Support Unit

Nadine is a social activist and holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Birzeit University. She worked as an accountant at Grand Park Hotel in Ramallah and was an auditing intern at Deloitte and Touche.

Nadim Qandil, the Projects Officer of REFORM team

Nadim Qandil

Operations Officer

Nadim holds a BA in Political Science and Diplomatic Studies from Al-Quds University. Nadim participated in the development of REFORM’s facilitator’s training guide – Facilitating Reform – and is a member of the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate Employment Council. He is also the coordinator of the Civil Peace Coalition. Nadim is a co-facilitator in social transformation in conflict.

Ahlam Taweel

Development & Communications Officer

Ahlam is a social activist and holds a bachelor’s degree from Florida Atlantic University. She is an active volunteer and educator working to enhance creative thinking among youth. Ahlam works in the fields of development, education and communication in order to build the capacities of REFORM’s team and enhance REFORM’s partnerships.

Rawan Sharqawi

Operations’ Department

Rawan is a political activist and holds a BA in Media and Journalism from Al-Najah National University.  She worked as a presenter and producer in a number of local radio stations and is a co-facilitator in social transformation in conflict.

Noor Hajjaj, a member of REFORM team and an accountant

Accountant

Noor holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting with a minor in business administration from Birzeit University. She participated in a number of activities related to community service, both in collaboration with the Municipality of Ramallah and Al-Bireh, in the free market and through the Tamer Institute for Community Education.

Rizeq Atawneh

Operations’ Department

Rizeq is a political and community activist, holding a diploma certificate in physiotherapy from the Modern University College. He participated in drafting policy papers on political and social participation of women and youth and is active in both MIFTAH and Leaders of Tomorrow and Palestinian Young Activists Network. He is a member of the Network of Human Rights Defenders (MUSAWA).

Ameer Jabareen

Operations’ Department

Ameer holds a BA dual degree in Urban Studies and Economics from Al-Quds University and Bard College. He as well holds a MSc in Regional and Urban Planning Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He has many professional experiences with consultancies and private companies in his field. He is also a previous member of the LSE Student Union Palestine Society and was involved in organizing several cultural, educational and political events about Palestine abroad.

Communications Department

Lamis is a social activist and holds a BA in English Language with a minor in translation from Birzeit University. She worked in a number of private companies in the communications field and volunteered in many NGOs before and during her college years. Lamis was also a member of “Beyond” youth group that implemented a community initiative to improve the living conditions and social environment within Qalandia Refugee Camp.
