Women’s Informal Employment in Palestine: Reality and Challenges
The project aims to counter the discriminatory practices and attitudes that contribute to gender inequality, providing safe spaces for youth, including women and refugees, to promote social and gender issues, secure job opportunities, and improve the exchange of experiences between various Palestinian community components, thus enhancing social cohesion.
The Palestinian Association for Empowerment and Local Development- REFORM, is honored to invite you to participate in a Public Debate session entitled “Women’s Informal Employment in Palestine: Reality and Challenges “. The aim of this session is:
To discuss the reality of Palestinian women’s participation in the informal economy and the challenges they face in the absence of opportunities.
To analyze the legal status of Palestinian women in the labor market, and the extent to which they are exploited and discriminated against, from a gender perspective.
