Invitation to participate in a Book Discussion: Laila

About

This session is part of Access Beyond Barriers Project which aims to enhance the social participation of marginalized groups, in order to formulate public policies that are responsive to youth’s and women’s needs. The project also aims to enhance cooperation between youth groups and CBOs in Area C and in Palestinian refugee camps, and to develop the internal procedures and practices of these associations in order to ensure good governance practices. Thus, social and cultural cohesion will be increased amongst the different social components and collective Palestinian identity will be promoted.

The Palestinian Association for Empowerment and Local Development – REFORM is honored to invite you to participate in a book discussion entitled, “Laila”. This activity aims to:
E

Explore the role that traditions and customs play in determining the degree and nature of youth’s participation in social life

E

Assess the limited representation of youth and the lack of opportunities available to them to engage in youth work within various different fields.
