About Project

The “Cohesion and Diversity in the Palestinian Society” project aims to advance the reality of social cohesion and contribute to enhancing the cooperation amongst different groups and components of the Palestinian society, specifically in strengthening social cohesion with emphasis on the importance of participation for civil peace and rule of law.

The “Cohesion and Diversity in the Palestinian Society” project is implemented by The Civil Coalition for Promoting Civil Peace and the Rule of Law, in partnership with AGIAMONDO/Civil Peace Service (CPS).

OBJECTIVES

enhance the cooperation and solidarity amongst social groups

specifically calling for the promotion and strengthening of social cohesion and participation within the rule of law in the targeted areas

combat polarization, antagonistic behaviours and discrimination

through structural changes, including producing research and policy suggestions and putting more lobbying efforts on the decision-makers

improved networking processes between REFORM and local and international bodies

contributing to enhancing visibility and strategic partnerships

Community leaders show more acceptance of social and conflict transformation approaches

participating in activities and adopting these approaches in resolving conflict

Community leaders are role models in their communities

transferring knowledge and practices and contributing to a change at individual and societal levels
